Post Celebrity Masters and Slaves
This topic is just for fun as I have no personal knowledge of these people or their natures.

When I think of a celebrity that would make an awesome Master, I always think of Patrick Stewart aka Jean Luc Picard. He, or rather his characters, ooze dom to me.

The other night watching Iron Chef, I had to think that Bobby Flay would make a good Master as well. Don't ask me why, it was a random thought.

So if the Gor books were remade into a (new) movie or if we were all suddenly transported to Gor (work with me here) what actors could you see playing parts in it and who would they be and why? Specific characters or just general roles.

I'm going to caste Drew Barrymore as Elizabeth Cardwell
and Matthew McConaughey as Tarl :P

In the same way they chose him to play a six and a half foot tall, blond haired, blue eyed vampire, I vote for Tom Cruise as Tarl! lol

Seriously though... Matthew as he looked in Reign of Fire might be too scary to be Tarl.

Gerard Butler could do Marlenus.. "This... Is.... Spar...er, I mean AR!"
Meghan Fox as his daughter...
Ooh, Sean Bean might be an excellent Tarl....George Clooney as the elder Tarl?
Alan Rickman (or possibly Viggo Mortensen) as Pa-Kur the assassin...

Gerald Butler is a good fit for Marlenus.
I'm guessing you'd like to see Meghan Fox play any role ;) for her talent of course.

Dwayne Johnson aka “The Rock” would make a great Kamchak.
I can’t think who would play Harold the Tuchuk. He’s one of my favorite characters so it would have to be just right.

I could see Angelina Jolie and Jessica Alba as panther girls, but I think Jennifer Lopez would be a slave, maybe even Doreen the Dancer

...Is this where I admit I had a HUGE crush on Jean Luc Picard? Cause I so totally did. I can totally see him as a Master.
Hmmm...Who else..Oh oh oh!
Sean Connery. Totally. Mmmm...Maybe Pierce Brosnan...I think I have the hots for the Bond men. Except the new one, he's totally NOT Bond to me. He's frickin' blonde for pete's sake! I'm sure there are others...

Alan Rickman as Pa-Kur? Oh man, how about Gary Oldman? I've always thought Gary Oldman would make the best Pa-Kur.

Maybe Brendan Gleeson as Elder Tarl, remember him as Hamish in Braveheart?

Harold? Sean Pegg, lighten is hair and beef him up a bit? He'd be the perfect comic relief Tuchuk.

As to the new blonde Bond (who in my opinion is closest to the book Bond. :p Haters!) Couldn't you see Daniel Craig as Cernus? And maybe Patrick Stewart as Flamminus?

...That could work. And he may be closer to the book Bond. But Bond to me will ALWAYS be tall dark and handsome.

See, Pa-kur depends on if he is to be played for complete evil-ness, or for some comic relief. Alan Rickman was the only thing worth watching in Costner's Robin Hood, because he was evil, but with a comic twist. If you want him to be strictly nasty, Gary Oldman would be good, or even Benecio Del Torro

And I'm sorry, but you can't do any medieval/historic movie without Hugo Weaving, so even if we have to make up a role for him, it must be done.
